Elite Shooting Sessions - 60 minute sessions
Shooting sessions are essential to establish and reinforce effective technique. Shooting session are lead by former professional player and two time Olympian Fiona Hannan.
Sessions focus on small details of feet, body, hand positioning and consistent shot release and delivery of the ball using a variety of breakdown drills and the use of the rebound-pass-back machines.
Invitational 120 minute sessions
Scorers Academy Invitationals are six to nine week training programs focusing on skill development and game play concepts of elite standard junior athletes.
Weekly two hour sessions include one hour focusing on individual player skill development and the second hour on team concepts and spacing during games. Players are placed into teams for scrimmage games that include full score bench and statistics to assist athletes to recognise and understand their contributions, strengths and weaknesses in all aspects of their game.
Elite Athlete Physical Development and Conditioning Program
This program assists junior and senior athletes to build efficient physical movement patterns and create elite level power, speed, strength and balance. This program is delivered by fully qualified personal trainers and professional movement coaches who assess participants for movement inefficiencies and weaknesses then create individual training programs to be delivered at flexible time-slots to suit each athlete.
